Previously unpublished security footage purporting to show the Israeli airstrike that killed longtime Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut last year has surfaced on Arabic media.
The footage, which began circulating Thursday, appears to be from a surveillance camera near the underground Hezbollah command bunker in the Dahieh district of southern Beirut, where Nasrallah was killed on September 27, 2024.
The video shows a man preparing to mount a motorcycle when a powerful explosion rips through the street. The airstrike reportedly involved GBU-31/B Joint Direct Attack Munition bombs fitted with BLU-109/B bunker-busting warheads.

The IDF confirmed on September 28 that Nasrallah and several senior Hezbollah commanders were killed in the attack, which also resulted in dozens of civilian casualties and hundreds of injuries.
Hezbollah has not officially commented on the newly released footage. Nasrallah’s successor, Naim Qassem earlier announced that Hezbollah will hold a “grand funeral” for its former leader on February 23, five days after the IDF is scheduled to withdraw from Lebanon under the current ceasefire agreement.
