These are heavy for ceramics, but they are still noticeably lighter than steel plates (7.25 lb vs. 9.3 lb per plate). The multicurve shape is very comfortable too, a definite improvement over single curve. The lead time was spot on: from the time of order, it was just under 5 weeks until they were in my hands. Honest lead times are a definite plus unlike some other unnamed armor companies.
