The ARDITI mid-cut helmets by Chase Tactical are manufactured using XTclave technology. XTclave is a cutting-edge solution for composite curing and high-pressure consolidation. It generates a tougher, more dense material that weighs less compared to the materials often found in ballistic helmets.

Our Mid-Cut ARDITI ballistic helmets offer more head coverage compared to the high-cut helmets and less coverage compared to the standard cut and full-cut helmets. You gain a better balance between the other styles of helmets, which makes this helmet more versatile.

Unlike level IIIA helmets, the ARDITI level III helmets are made to stop rifle threats. Our level III helmets meet NIJ 0106.01 specifications for stopping 7.62 x 51mm steel jacketed bullets with a grain size of 147 and a velocity of 2794 ft/s.

Level III armor includes hard material instead of flexible material. With the mid-cut design, you can still wear earmuffs and other hearing devices while gaining greater protection around the ears compared to a high-cut helmet. The ARDITI line of ballistic helmets is named after an elite Italian special forces group that struck fear into its opponents during World War I. The ARDITI were one of the first dedicated assault groups deployed by the military.
