These plates are great for the price. Yes, they might be vulnerable to fall damage, but that can be mitigated by putting a trauma pad on the outside of the plate in your carrier.

The 4SAS4 plates definitely have some caveats in terms of not being drop safe while retaining ballistic rating. So as long as you’re aware of that and plan accordingly, they are extremely good value for ceramic level IV plates. All in all, very happy with my purchase.
