Take your Plate Carrier to the Next Level
The Rapid Disconnect Universal Cummerbund was designed with the direct input of several Military and Law Enforcement units to rapidly disconnect and connect your plate carrier. We wanted to maintain the function of our MOLLE cummerbund but allow a rapid disconnect feature. The rapid disconnect cummerbund utilizes our Rapid Disconnect System (RDS) for quick detach, featuring 3 rows of MOLLE/PALS webbing to attach your pouches or side plates.
Our RDCÂ cummerbund also features an internal pocket for our soft armor (Armor Sold Separately). We designed the RDC cummerbund in 2 sizes, allowing a very versatile sizing design. The RDC cummerbund is compatible with our MEAC, LOPC, and LVPC-E Plate Carriers, along with most other carriers on the market.

Great upgrade for any plate carrier, I do wish the molle webbing were more reinforced like cryes carbon fiber webbing. Seems a little pricey for what it is.

So I run a testudo carrier from ar500 but its cummerbund is worthless. The ar500 one has too much slack and can only hold 6×6 steel.
The Chase Tactical qd cummerbund is phenomenal, secure fit with molle webbing on the outside AND inside allowing you to run plates and anyothe pouches you want.
Qd release is amazing, its quick and quiet to don and doff.

The small/med size was a little too big for me. I needed to zip tie it to make the cummerbund a little shorter between the quick detach points and the plates. The rear section let the plates sag in the back but that could be due to the design of nt carrier. I made it work but needed some customization. Quick detach is a big improvement over the hook and loop design so I’m happy with that.
