The Super Lightweight Plate Carrier (LOPC) from Chase Tactical
Our Lightweight Operational Plate Carrier (LOPC) is a lightweight plate carrier that works with any set of hard armor plates and soft armor backers. The LOPC has built in padded and fully adjustable shoulder straps. The tops of the shoulder straps have both nylon webbing and elastic webbing for mounting and routing tourniquets, hydration tubes, radio antennas, handsets, comm wires, V Lites, and strobe lights.
The front of our Lightweight Operational Plate Carrier incorporates a large matching hook & loop area for placards and 2 vertical clips which will accept a variety of pre-configured weapon-specific pouch panels. The LOPC comes standard with our removable MOLLE clip placard held in place by 2 vertical clips. Spacer mesh is used on the inside of the LOPC for increased breathability and comfort. The cummerbund is made of lightweight breathable mesh with MOLLE webbing on the exterior and interior. The LOPC incorporates a strong drag handle that secures down and out of the way when not in use.

Real world use in the military. The plate carrier seems to be very durable so far. Stitching is on point and seems to hold up very well with heavy field use. I love how lightweight and minimalist the design is. Shouldering a weapon is very nice due to how small the shoulder straps are. Overall, I’d say this is extremely comfortable as well. The padding and breathable mesh material doesn’t add unnecessary bulk while keeping your comfort in mind. My only critique would be that the mesh cummerbund could be a bit more rigid and a zip on panel in the back would be a nice touch. Great minimalist plate carrier with a bunch of nice features.

Great simple carrier. Plate pockets are plenty big enough for stand alone level IV ceramics. I added yoga mat behind them to fill it a little more to prevent the plates from shifting around. Velcro on flap for plates could be positioned better, but it works as is.

Fits well, front and back panel are great but the side cummerbunds are floppy so if you mount a lot of gear on the sides it will sag. Perhaps consider a new cummerbund.
